Excellent equipment, and don't need headphone to her music or watch Television, piece of cake to fix.

I have endemic two of these trainers. They work well for most a twelvemonth and a one-half and then the bearings go out on them and start screaming. Since Performance has changed their return policy, I'g sort of stuck. So, it's a throw away particular. The skillful news is that it'due south relatively inexpensive. Since it'southward half the price or less, you lot'll go 3 years out of two or mayhap 5 years out of 3.
The question is.....Do you purchase a more than expensive trainer with the possibility that your now $500 trainer blows up vi months out of warranty?
Overall rating...good trainer that volition break in about 18 months.

Compared to the outset travel Trac I had in 1999, this is a huge Comeback! Super easy prepare-upwards & whisper tranquillity. I'm impressed with the auto intensity aligning while pedaling. It'south smoothen and fun to apply! Operation Bike Shops have never permit me down and delivery of this item was fast. The box & contents were well protected.

I love this trainer. Polish and quiet compared to my older trainers. Swell value as well.

Likewise heavy (27 lbs, as well high off the basis, and too difficult to adjust tension with the rear wheel. I had UPS transport this unit back at my own expense RMA 10552 and am still waiting for Nashbar to refund $215 on my credit card. The other complaint is though I am now writing y'all, y'all say my password is not secure and should be changed. Please answer by e-mail.

NASHBAR came through for our Christmas giving. The Travel Trac Fluid Trainer was in stock. NASHBAR's utilize of FedEx enabled deliveries in time for Christmas although the order was fabricated in mid-Dec. David East. engaged FedEx on my behalf since I used the incorrect address for delivery. He followed upwards to ensure that I was satisfied and aware of the new delivery date. David E.'s personal service overcame my displeasure of spending a scrap more on the product than from another site that was out of stock. As I wrote in another review, I really like the way the NASHBAR website let's the customer confirm the address changes it makes (add Zero Plus) earlier moving onto terminal transaction page.

I bought the Travel Trac Trainer considering the gyms are sometimes closed due to Covid and I wanted to continue to cycle. One time the snow and Ice come in the North, I move inside. I establish the trainer to be very sturdy once it is all set up. I had no problem swapping out the quick release. It was a little tricky lining upwardly the bolts on the back wheel as I had a kicking-stand and rack in that expanse and so I simply had to adjust everything to line up. In one case I had all the adjustments tightened, it was very sturdy in the stand. It is somewhat noisier than I would like and the sound oscillates a bit as I don't have toe clips, but I just use some earphones with music and information technology's not equally bad. I go a pretty skillful conditioning then I am happy near that. All-in-all, it is a adept unit and will fold up for storage. I recommend it. Operation Bicycle was very easy to deal with as I ordered on-line with UPS commitment. They were very circumspect to any concerns I had.

Setup was very like shooting fish in a barrel and through the first two weeks of use the trainer has performed as expected - with minimal noise

I received my Cycle Trainer on time and the item besides every bit the box that information technology was stored in was in excellent condition on arrival. I have set the trainer up on my bicycle and take been enjoying since than. Thank yous

Really good trainer, at a not bad price! Pretty quite, better than I expected. Nice and compact for storage. But ordered a second one for my wife and so we can ride together.

This is smashing! A little louder then I expected, but it'southward steady and easy to take the cycle on a off of. didn't think it was bad shipping times, because the quarantines..

Smashing - equally expected...easy to setup - and easy to utilize. I detect it "quiet" and appropriate to what I wanted

What a great product, easy to install and runs very smooth, just opened it and did a 20 Km warm up.!!

Just got the trainer a week agone. Footling gear up, but modify out the rear wheel quick release with the one provided and prepare the rear triangle into the trainer. I was ready to ride in 15 minutes. The trainer is quiet and smooth, subsequently 3 rides I'm very pleased with my purchase. I cannot comment on longevity, but ease of use is swell.

This is my first trainer. Information technology is pretty bones. Information technology turned my mountain bike into a stationary trainer. It works well. Like shooting fish in a barrel to prepare and piece of cake to store abroad when not existence used. I accept heard a lot of trainers especially the magnetic based are very noisy. This one is non. The noise is not a problem. I can hear my Tv without headphones. If yous are looking for a basic trainer, this is a good one. I added the Garman speed and cadence sensors to be able to continue rails of my workouts on my smartphone. If y'all want to do online racing and competing than I would recommend you spend more coin for a smart trainer that is approved for the app you want to use.

As ii others said, the trainer opening is as well narrow. My Scattante and old Paramount would not fit, even later trying dissimilar skewers. Called client service and was transferred to a bike tech. Took down my information and said he would become back to me. Never did. Tried calling one more than fourth dimension and gave up. I long for the days when Performance had stores with great customer service. Their service by phone used to be adept likewise.

Worked fine for a couple of weeks, just now the wheel has started squeaking unless I speed upwardly considerably. Whatsoever communication on whether I can fix this by adjusting the resistance unit one way or the other?

I bought this trainer in September of 2018 and have put countless hours in on information technology on TrainerRoad and Zwift. It'south held up well. It'due south repose and provides a dainty fluid feel to it. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck here. Information technology even has a footling bit of "give" built in to it, and so your bike will rock simply a piddling fleck as yous pedal, which is good for your knees and your frame. It has some drift over temperature, so if you're trying to do long threshold intervals without a power meter, you're going to become some drift in readings based on speed. But overall, swell trainer for the price.

It sets upwards and breaks down quickly. It's stable and quiet. The elevate seems to be like to riding (just no wind). Folds up compactly and can be tossed behind a chair. It'southward ideal.

Non compatible with a Specialized Allez Sprint. The skewer is besides curt and the width of the trainer is too narrow. Tried to piece of work with the chat and call in customer service with no results. Subsequently quite a long fourth dimension on the phone, the phone call in client service told me to lodge a longer skewer....which was going to cost an add together'l $30!!! And, information technology was back ordered. I traded this with a local friend, who has a trainer which is wider and volition fit my bike. I'll piece of work with a local bike store to notice a more compatible office for my bike. Volition non piece of work with this company once again. Suggest having bike techs respond customer services calls.
